Mannheim Steamroller Christmas New braunfels Concert reviews
A GOOD TIME AT A GOOD SHOW
"I loved this show, having never seen Mannheim Steamroller Christmas perform live, I was pleasantly surprised at how much. His band and he were awesome, as were his background dancers who added just a little extra something to the performance. During one part of his performance, I especially liked the light up suits that were used. He sang, he danced, and he gave all he had. We loved it, and we loved him. Dougie Fresh was totally amazing as well. That man knows how to get the party started and keep it rocking. He showed the crowd exactly what he was working with, and it was all good. SWV was the disappointing factor of the show. Although not totally hideous, their singing to a recorded track in outfits more suited to their figures of the past made them dated and stale. They presented no new material to the audience and didn't really showcase their beautiful voices and the talent they were previously known for."
I don't have the words for this
In high school back in 1980, I was sad to find out that the Wall Tour was only in Los Angeles, NYC, and possibly London. I had no means of getting there and was really pissed. It did take 30 years, but I finally got to see a very quality show. I agree that it would be nice if the other Pink Floyd members were there, but this show is not lacking, trust me. You will thank me later if you go. Go if you are a fan or just liked the album, and you will not regret it. This was top-notch quality and in a few short years, this will not happen again. I suggest going no matter what the cost is. I cannot tell you in words what this event was like.
The All-American Rejects - Amazing!!
The Rejects delivered an hour and a half of pure energy from the moment they took to the stage. Opening with "Gives You Hell" and ending with an encore of "Move Along", they performed all their hits, old and new. Tyson Ritter's infectious exuberance and humor were on full display. Nick's guitar playing was equally great, as were Mike and Chris. Toad on Keys cannot be forgotten. The audience went crazy when Tyson performed "Mona Lisa" while in the crowd. Fully recovered from his health issues earlier this fall, he is clearly in top form. The Rejects are on "Top of the World" and it shows, with even fans in seats on their feet for the entire time.
The Black Crowes finest hour (so far)
In my opinion, the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Crowes have always been a great live band. What I like the most is the song writing; it has matured to such incredible highs. They play every song at a live show with pleasure for the ears. The Crowes easily achieve that because they are all superb musicians, and have evolved more into a jam band. The stage setup was also really cool, and I've seen them 7 or 8 times and really loved every show. To anyone reading this, their show is all about the music, as it should be. When it's play so masterfully, there doesn't need to be any fluff that requires everyone to be on top of their game musically.
